As long as I can remember I’ve had this fascination with creating. Growing up in Pawtucket, RI, I could always be found with a coloring book or notepad in hand. In my formative years, I began to really venture out and try new mediums. I learned to knit and crochet and my mom taught me how to sew. In high school, I got my first sewing machine. From there, I decided I was going to make my own prom dress. That was definitely a journey.

When choosing a major, I knew for sure I wanted to go into the arts. A teacher’ s assistant at Rhode Island School of Design’s Project Open door, told me about Graphic Design and it was as if something in me clicked. I loved the idea of taking an idea and bringing it to life.

During my time at Johnson & Wales University, I have really gotten a chance to explore different fields of design and improve my skills in all of them. I hope to take those skills with me into my career and expand them.
